I received my 6-8" female Kenyan Sand Boa Thursday morning, and she is beautiful! She was well packed and insulated and had a heat pack on top, and came out of the container full of life! A nice card telling all about her, when she last ate, when she was born and care tips. I immediately fell in love with her, I named her Ashante, in honor of her Kenyan heritage. Last night, she ate a thawed mouse, she's really liking her new enclosure! I had never ordered from XYZ before, but after reading the reviews on here, and across the web, I took the plunge, and I'm happy I did, the care they take with their animals is seriously impressive, you can tell they care about them as living beings, not just merchandise to be bought and sold. I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future.
It took a few weeks for xyz to ship my Mojave due to cold weather in my area but they kept me updated on what was happening. When it finally came in it was a very beautiful snake. It is very active and healthy and I couldn’t be happier.
Excellent condition, beautiful and healthy snake. The customer services is the best. Thank you for you help.
XYZ Reptiles is Excellent!! Before trying xyz reptiles, I attempted to order via another business in order save a couple of bucks (free shipping if I wait 30 days). The experience was awful - their customer service sub-par. I don't think the organization had an iota of emotional equity in either their animals or customers. I ordered our new member of our family (Red Tail Boa) online, through XYZ Reptiles. I can't speak for their customer service beyond their email system; I didn't have to engage it. All of their "form" communicates were accurate and timely. What stood out for me (prompting me to leave a review) were three numbers handwritten on the invoice. I'm assuming they were temperatures in Silver City, NM. This led me to believe that XYZ Reptiles would NOT send an animal through overnight delivery if temperatures were unsafe for animal travel. They care about the well being of their animals. We received our beautiful boa in a healthy and alert condition. NO ISSUES!!
Genetic Stripe Ball Python
The Genetic Stripe Ball Python is not the only way to make a snake that is fully striped but it is the cleanest and surest way, this recessive mutation is one of the earliest pattern mutations in Ball Pythons. This gene is known for its ability to overcome almost any other whether co-dom or recessive. Most examples of Genetic Stripe Ball Pythons will have a base color of tan to brown with a yellow dorsal stripe that is bordered by solid or broken black stripes.
The best way to look at this animal is as a striped canvas that can be painted on with other genes. You can add yellow and purple with pastels. You can clean up the yellow and add contrast by adding butter. Add both pastel and butter for one of the nicest combos out there. Yellowbelly will add orange diamonds on the side and banana and lavender albino add amazing purple and orange. All in all this morph is very unique and a must have when it comes to collecting and breeding Ball Pythons.
