Leucistic Texas rat snakes are also referred to as Lucy Texas Rats. Each baby black eyed leucistic Texas rat snake for sale is born with a light white and pink color. This color changes to a solid white as they mature. Ours are captive born beauties that are provided the best care possible by our loving staff. They will be around 14-18 inches long at the time of purchase.
Leucistic Texas Rat Snake Care
They are feeding weekly on pinkie mice. We alternate them bewteen live and frozen to ensure they will take either. These rat snakes will do well starting in a 10 gallon tank or terrarium. They will need the below supplies at a minnimum.
- Bedding
- Heating Pad
- Hide Spot
- Water Dish
We do offer a 10 gallon setup that we recommend for all of our baby colubrids. Our setup includes the necessary suppiles and many others prepackaged for one low cost. It can be easily be added to any 10 gallon tank or terrarium creating the ideal setup for these baby snakes.
Nore: Be sure that the tank or terrarium you choose has a locking lid. This will enusre your new pet stays safely in it’s environment.
